I am a NYC based Brazilian-American designer who found his passion in designing meaningful experiences and solving complex problems. I believe great design isn’t just a pretty interface; it’s built on empathy, research, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the problem. Understanding the business and user needs (it’s not always what the user wants, but what they need) is crucial.

Before pursuing design full-time, I studied and worked in advertising and digital marketing. Over time, I realized I was becoming increasingly unfulfilled, and my interests started shifting from marketing products to designing them. But that time wasn’t wasted. The skills I gained, such as graphic design, content writing, understanding human psychology and business needs, are now invaluable to my design process. Since then, I’ve worked as a designer in Berlin and Seattle, and I now live and work in New York.

I love traveling and experiencing different cultures, which fuels my curiosity and creativity, and can be the perfect creative slump killer. In my free time, you can usually find me exploring the city with my camera, attending a live show or festival, or on an ongoing quest to find the perfect bowl of ramen in NY (suggestions welcome!).
